I never for one believed Obama on most of his promises, kind of like Bush too and others. I see through their lies. He IS a liar! Just like Bush and Clinton before him.

Far fewer so far are the jobs in green energy, such as solar power and energy efficiency, that Gov. Bev Perdue and President Obama have touted.
B.O. will count these jobs as thousands of new jobs..

More jobs are good. Far too little effort has been spent on more jobs. To me jobs are the key to this recovery.

It may be good news for Charlotte but it means that Siemens is closeing their plant here and putting their employees in Hamilton out of work in order to move the plant to Charlotte where I assume the labour costs are much lower.

Jobs are dollars and we need all we can develop right now. Renewable energy jobs are very few right now and the cost of development is high. They will be a deciding factor in the next 10 years though.

Use proven technology [nuclear and fossil fuel] to produce an ample supply of cheap energy, and it will be easier, and cheaper, to develop innovative forms of energy like solar and wind.
It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to screw the American public by artificially forcing up the cost of electricity to match what solar and wind must charge now to be profitable, even with substantial taxpayer subsidies.
BTW, the myth of global warming is being used to artificially increase the cost of fossil fuel energy, by making carbon sequestration a prerequisite of new fossil plants. CO2 sequestration/control is unnecessary, because climate modification by CO2 control is a boondoggle. However, CO2 controls on fossil fueled power plants and on gasoline and diesel fired vehicles WILL force up the cost of using that technology, needlessly.
