Sounds promising. I wouldn't count on solar being THE answer, but certainly part of a good answer.

To make it, cost must be lower than oil. When we get $100.00 oil that may be true.

Only the Government can afford solar energy because they don't care how they spend our tax dollars.
Keep conserving.

This is the story of a process that will eventually change the way we generate power. Solar will help kick the oil addiction.
Nice that these companies are in the U.S., creating jobs and capital.
Good luck!

Make it cheaper, efficient and easy to install and they will beat your door down to buy your product. Renewable energy from solar, wind, thermal, tidal, hydro and/or nuclear – support the national electrical grid.

Solar takes a lot of acres to produce significant, competitive amounts of power.
Keep trying.
In the meantime, the grid must be upgraded to handle myriad sources scattered geographically throughout the land to transport power efficiently wherever needed.
Until that happens, all greenie dabs of power here and there will not be effective or affordable.

It is tough.
Solar is something like a nickel or dime of what it was 35 years ago and only needs to shave off another 95% of today's cost to make it cost effective and competitive.

We will need to harness every possible energy source to charge all the electric cars that are being developed.

Until this becomes more affordable, there won't be to much demand for it.
