Not clear from the article but Marin County should not be able to use our tax dollars to compete with a utility company.

All I know about PG&E is that they were a 60's San Francisco rock group lead by vocalist Charlie Allan. Whatever happened to him?

My newspaper, it's the Mercury News named after the mercury mining concerns that helped process the gold from the 49ers. Mucrury News does't exist as far as I can tell.

""The law is clear, PG&E is breaking the law and we are requesting that the CPUC tell them to stop," said Dawn Weisz, interim director of the Marin Energy Authority."
Seems to me if PG&E is breaking the law they should be charged with that -- not just tole to stop. Something is way wrong here, and we need the details -- not just accusations.

Sounds like PG&E needs a good stiff fine. If they were smart they would get into the green energy business too instead of fighting it.

Another story where the true colors of an energy company come to the surface: Profits ahead of a good energy policy.

Corporations destroy their competition then they become too big to fail so the taxpayers can bail them out when their bets go bad.

How long do you think this will be held up in court and how costly do you think this case will become? Just a lot of costly attorney bickering. No wonder that profession has such a universally bad reputation.
