Hi, you made a great post today on the news item: "Controversial motor fuel with more ethanol raises concerns". My thoughts are: Blending E-10 is good because it reduces the amount of poisonous carbon monoxide produced by all internal combustion engines. Increased amounts of ethanol provide no additional health benefits, significantly reduce MPG and can harm most engines and fuel systems. No MORE Food or Feed for Fuel!!! Great pictures, I too have a love for all military aircraft. I may date you a little bit. My dad flew a F6F Hellcat from a carrier during WWII. So I had an attraction to the”Prop” jobs: P51’s, P38’s, Corsair’s, etc. In fact my mom was a “Rosie the Riveter” on B-26 assembly line in Okla. I still am hearing new stories from my dad about his experiences in the South Pacific. He is 87 now. Whenever the CAF has a show in Houston; they usually fly the B-17 into the Westside Airport (in which we are in the final landing pattern). So I can imagine you growing up on the bases was a great thrill. I would love to see that SR-71 up close, it must be awesome. Thanks again for the pictures. That Constellation was one pretty aircraft in the air or on the ground.
