How much is CNG costing now?
"These wonder inventions are always 3-5 years out, just like the flying car!" It could have already been done, because like I posted there earlier, we were doing experiments with this 10 to 30 years ago. Nothing new.
Thanks for keeping track of everyone's milestones.
You made it to 1 3/4 million points - That's a sedan icon! Great job!
I paid $6000 for the conversion, and received a $2500 tax credit from the State of Utah. I have been told the conversions have now dropped to $4500 which means it would now be $2000 after the tax credit.
I purchased it from CNG America already converted. They did a really good job and backed me up with a 2 year warranty. They have now stopped doing conversions and the excellent mechanic they had has moved to a CNG conversion company in Orem. I am not sure of the name of the new company. CNG America is now focusing on opening CNG pumps at gas stations.
