MaxCap59---I feel your pain. Don't be mad at PhilMils. He is giving "casual analysis to the price fluctuations". Maybe he can enlighten us all, with his supreme intelligence, by telling us how the wholesale price of unleaded gasoline can be made to fall from $3.50 to the $1.70 per gallon range, like it did from July to December in 2008. (I would mention that there was a republican in the white house at the time, but I wouldn't want to be accused of using "this forum for political statements instead of gasoline discussions".)

Thanks for the info on the ethanol-free gas. It does seem a bit pricey. I am not driving that far to get it. Iwould burn up any savings I would get.

Hey Maxcap59. I predicted another 7-5 season for the Wolverines, but said the losses would be much closer, their defense would be much improved, and 8-4 or 9-3 would not be out of the question. Iowa was a tough loss. Some bad breaks, some bad calls, but UM could've won, so I remain encouraged on our improvement. Even if we lose our next three, at least we could actually WIN our bowl game instead of getting humiliated. That is improvement. Next year should be really exciting!! Take care, friend.
