Sadly diesel will probably always remain at a higher cost than other gases. "On paper at least, diesel fuel is a less refined petroleum distillate than gasoline, so it should always be cheaper to produce than gasoline. The problem with diesel fuel prices has more to do with the laws of supply and demand for various petroleum products, not the actual cost of production" (Pollick)

Sounds like a good move to me. We always report regular gasoline and the diesel price posted if the station sells both when we post prices seen in our are during the day.
We are looking forward to the day that CNG prices have a column to post the local CNG prices. Granted we are a long way from that day but it will be a good day for one an all whenever it does occur.

Diesel? Less refining to make, More BTU's per gallon, More mpg, What's next? More personal vehicles using this fuel? Make It So! Engage..........sput, sput, sput....clink....clunk....phew...... ENGAGE.............! Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, vehicle manufactures Produce and the population ‘Drives’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! XII/XXII/MMXII!

Without the EPA getting their nose in the diesel business there would a lot more vehicles on the road getting great mpg and being very dependable mechanically.

We now have regular available for $2.979 per gallon.
I haven't bought any for almost a month. Maybe by Christmas the price will be reasonable.

Diesel. I think I drove a diesel car once. If EPA regulations hadn't more or less banned them way more people would be driving them and we'd be getting 50 MPG without some silly battery pack.

And just wait for the diesels (that have been in use in europe for a long time now) to hit the American markets.
Now, how about the E-15 to E-85 forcasts? Just kidding, I don't care about them... Just thinking I'd like to be able to report prices on them at the stations that offer those blends.
