Hennessey modified vehicles- not for your average driver!

GasBuddy Blog -- Hennessey Performance, based in Sealy, Texas, packs in a lot of horses under their 30,000 sq. ft. facility, but it might not be the kind of horses you imagine.

We're talking about horsepower of course- Ford GTs, Vipers, Corvettes, Jeeps, Dodges, the list goes on- all with just a few more horses than they came with from the factory floor. Hennessey will take a factory car- not always what you'd call slow and bland- and give it heart surgery. This heart surgery is different-the replacement will pump out more more power in the same envelope, and it doesn't just stop there. Upgrades occur at many different levels- not just your engine. Anyone buying high HP cars isn't too worried about gas.. I'm also sure they're not their primary vehicles...they probably have a few they can drive to Wal Mart or whatever. Cars like those aren't being driven tens of thousands of miles in their life.
