Her vehicle's official interval is 12 months or when ever the OLM goes off. In reality she get it serviced every 3,000 miles. Which for her would have been about 8-9 months. But we've been running it a bit longer the last month and a half. So I'd say 4-5,000 miles? It also seems to be burning some oil so for her. Changing it after 9 months and getting it checked out/serviced for a Bad Wheel Bearing(s) before Winter begins is a good idea. My vehicle is 6 months /6,000 miles (with an OLM which tends to go off around 8,000 miles)... I usually tend to try and get it serviced 3 times a year. Just so, like my Grandma's car, I tend to stay on top of issues before they become big problems.

Bought lifetime lube, oil (synthetic blend) and filter for $99 when I bought the car. Right now, that's about $6.50 per change.
