Our roads in Fall River? They suck! They are what I consider 'Pot-hole-hell'. They put in those dumbass patches that last a few days, a week or so if we get lucky enough, and it's just a losing battle but it's so brutal on our vehicles!

New Jersey's highways are maintained pretty well for the most part, side roads are a different story. PA's are about average.

ə right now, many of the streets in my area are full of potholes due to the freeze/thaw cycles which destroy them. the highways are bad too.
since this is a temporary condition, i chose “need work”. ə

most roads are decent in fair weather. In snow conditions the surrounding towns seem to drop the ball while my town gets it clear and safe in reasonable amount of time. There are other towns in promixity that do a great job too but the surrounding sucks

I feel the roads here in Miami Dade County, are fair to poor. All of the manhole covers in this area seem to average between one and three inches below the road surface. The result is a jarring ride that raises hell with the front end linkage and alignment. In a nutshell it sucks!

I live in a suburban town in SC and for the most part our roads are in pretty good condition. We do have numerous dirt roads that aren't paved, they just get scraped and graveled, but our more heavily traveled roads are in good condition. They are maintained by the city, county and state entities and they all work together to stay on top of keeping the roads paved. I can say that our county uses money generated from the gas tax to the full extent of road maintenance.

Most of the roads in my area (North Eastern Ontario) are in need of major repair and upgrading due to traffic volume. The damage and maintenance costs of my vehicles proves it. Having tie-rods, ball joints, tires and other steering and suspension components replace almost yearly is getting to be very, very expensive. Not to mention the amount of time we spend stuck idling in traffic on overcrowded highways.
