It's early to say, but gas prices might fall

One News -- Recently on January 11, The Associated Press reported that drivers' annual gas bills are expected to drop for the first time in four years, due to what forecasters are calling ample oil supplies and weak U.S. demand. Meanwhile, the Energy Department has stated that the average price for a gallon of gas will fall five percent.
Dan Kish, senior vice president of policy at the Institute for Energy Research, isn't so sure.

Still, Kish says the probability of cheaper prices is not out of the question.

"We are increasing oil production in this country faster than at any time in the history of this country because of the private sector. Those additional supplies here at home put downward pressure on gas prices," he says. "Provided that government can't figure out a way to mix it up and Congress

One article says fuel prices will rise and this one says fuel prices may go down? Don't really know what fuel prices will do until it happens. And it might change again when it changes then!
Big Oil and Big Gas sells fuel and natural gas on the world market for higher prices. The US ‘oil and natural gas resources’ belong to the citizens of this country and are to be used by those same citizens! The price at the pump needs to go down to $2/gallon - *$3, *$3.50/gallon or *$4.00 is Not the new low!
More Refineries are Not the answer, the answer is Stop Exporting Fuel! Take care of the domestic fuel market first!
Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, vehicle manufactures Produce and the population ‘Drives’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money.
The price of fuel at the pump is too high!

i agree-a stupid article..but in the event prices do drop by 5%, what the heck is 5% on gas that cost $4/gallon ??..

I'm sticking to 10 gallons a week which is my weekly average. We're done buying $20 or $30 worth. We buy gallons. Currently $30.60 a week.
