US sees $90bn boost from shale gas boom and what is the quality and condition of the underground water when all of the natural gas is gone and the oil and natural gas companies have moved on?

Fracking for gas is taking over the country. I sure hope it all works out favorably. We’re going to be in deep doodoo if the critics are right and the toxic fluids contaminate the water supply. Oil and gas are good and useful products but clean water is essential to life. It will be a bad tradeoff if we gain a great gas supply and have no water that is safe to drink.
