It looks like someone else reposted this article then bumped it up artificially. But your post was first.
As for DC, delays seem to be the law. Fiscal cliff anyone?

Keystone, the pipeline that will never be built. At least, not during the next four years of the current administration.

I don't like the other poster so I'll comment here...
the keystone will do nothing for the US but bring in more dirty power...
which I can see no need for...
electrical power consumption is way down or flat and oil consumption is off as well...
why construct and spill more gunk for other countries that likely will go to some other country anyway...
the US takes all the risks.. and gets little revenue in return....
build the pipeline and then tax the oil revenue at 50%

Aren't "deeply discounted Canadian oil prices" good for the US?
So what good is Keystone XL going to do if it causes oil prices to go up?

By that time maybe we'll be exporting gas to Canada and it will flow the other way.
Ground hog day, the first day of winter and the world did not come to an end.

I'm so tired of this Soap Opera.
I really think we should spend more time shipping our oil east to Eastern Canada that are paying North Sea Brent prices and screw the US.
If that doesn't get rid of enough oil than we should push the Gateway Pipeline to the west and on to Asia.
Obama wastes time and lets opertunity slide by. SO BE IT. He can get his oil from the Middle East for all us in Alberta care!

Just dump the pipeline. It's a long term negative for the US consumer and our environment.

I don't know why we're going to extremes to help Canada with this pipeline. They're just going to sell the oil to China anyway.

Of course it will. It's already bought and paid for, by the environmental movement. It's now a symbol of their movement.
